Scout, born a Rakshasa in a world where that was unacceptable. Taken from her parents as a baby, she was 'retrained' by Angels of Knowledge to be a better, more productive member of society. Except the training never really caught on. Instead it broke her, made her kind of crazy. She ran off, found a few friendly people, and survived for a time, killing when she could and enjoying it. | |

And then one day her Mattie, her best friend, her brother, her father, her lover, got hit by a car, and Scout went tumbling through the Rift. Things are much different now. She lives in a stronghold of cold bloods, she has no real allies, and she's promised to not kill. It's a lie (she still kills, sometimes...) but she still promised. Also, she can turn invisible. But that's a small thing on the list of stuff that has changed for her. | |
